Product Recall Update

Earlier in the week I posted about a Breast Pump Recall. I received an updated email today regarding this. Please disregard that previous communication.  The Pump In Style Advanced breastpump recall is limited to those pumps manufactured between Feb 10, 2010 and March 3, 2010 and for purchases made at Babies R Us, the models are limited to Pump In Style Advanced Shoulder Bag (57027T) and Backpack (57062T). THIS IS A LIMITED RECALL.  THIS ONLY APPLIES TO PUMP IN STYLE ADVANCED BREASTPUMPS MANUFACTURED BETWEEN FEB 10, 2010 and MARCH 3, 2010, and those sold in the US that exhibit one or more of the following symptoms.   -  The pump will not turn on -  The pump turns off on its own -  The pump reduces or loses suction during the pumping process -  The pump is making a clicking noise. This recall DOES NOT AFFECT CURRENT PRODUCT for sale at Toys"R"Us, Babies"R"Us or online at toyrus.com and babiesrus.com If you have a Pump In Style Advanced breast pump that exhibits any of these symptoms and was manufactured between Feb 10 and March 3, 2010, visit the Medela website, www.medelareturns.com to determine if your pump is part of the limited recall.  Serial numbers for your pump will be required.  For any questions regarding this recall, please email Medela at medelareturns@medela.com.  Further details may be found in the recall notice, here.
