FREE food and FREE haircuts

The Free Store at Area 15 on 15th Street at North Davidson, invites you to come out and meet them at 2 Out of 3 Free on Saturday, February 26th, from 11am to 1pm. The Free Store will be serving up FREE hot dogs, and Catherine Logan and Avenue 427 Salon will be giving FREE haircuts to those who need and want them. The Free Store's motto is "Give what you want. Take what you need." It is a way for people who are homeless or living in poverty to get a little more than just the basics. (There's also an "Almost Free Store" where furniture is sold for very low prices.) The store is stocked by donations only. Also, if you you are unfamiliar with Area 15, some other tenants are: Trips for Kids, which provides mentoring for kids through bicycling Not Just Coffee Shop, a community owned coffee shop serving handcrafted espresso based drinks and individually brewed cups of coffee using a pour over method.
