I received the following email about a recall below: Medela, Inc. is issuing a safety notification on the power adaptors included with the Pump In Style Advanced breast pumps. The detailed notice from Medela may be found here: Medela Power Adaptor with Pump In Style Advanced Breast Pumps. This notice DOES NOT PERTAIN TO THE BREAST PUMP ITSELF. IT DOES NOT AFFECT NEW PRODUCT for sale at Toys "R" Us, Babies "R" Us, or online at toysrus.com and babiesrus.com. Not all power adaptors are affected, this notice only applies to used adaptors that have been stored improperly or mishandled. Should your power adaptor show signs of damage, such as twists, kinks, bends, bulges or exposed wire, discontinue use and contact Customer Service for a replacement at www.medelapoweradaptorhelp.com.
