Read books and win prizes

Do you live in the Charlotte area? Kids can discovery the pleasures of reading and win prizes too, through Charlotte Mecklenburg Library's Summer Reading Programs. Summer Reading runs from June 15 – August 10, 2011 and in these programs, kids go to a library, get a chart to keep track of their reading, and bring it back in to get prizes. There are separate programs for kids under 4, 4-11, and 12-18, as well as an online reading club for adults and the prizes for teens include the valuable overdue fine waiver coupon, treats from Wendy's and Jason's Deli, backpack, and ear buds.
