For $33-$39 (regularly $55-$65), explore Charlotte by van or by bike and gain a new appreciation for the city's rich history and culture. Local tour guides will point out some of the most interesting architecture and sites of historical significance and stop to grab a taste of some local specialties.

Each voucher can be redeemed for one of the following tours, and can be used Sept. 29 - Dec. 31. Tours depart at the times below:

• Taste & Cycle Charlotte (3 hours): For $33, cycle past the city's oldest homes and newest postmodern skyscrapers, and stop at restaurants to try Charlotte specialties, from fresh cornbread with honey butter to fried chicken wings. Bike rental, helmet and lock are included in the cost of the tour. Tours meet at 401 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Suite 111 at 10 a.m. Wednesday-Sunday.

• Southern Food Tour (3 hours): From cornbread to fried pickles, get a taste of the South's most indulgent food. For $39, this tour takes guests by van through Charlotte's most popular neighborhoods, making stops at the city's legendary food establishments. Tours meet at 401 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Suite 111 at 3 p.m. Thursday-Sunday.

These tours are kept small and intimate, with a maximum size of 12 people per group. Tours fill up quickly and reservations are required.
