Ulysses: Charlotte Spring Festival of the Arts








Do you live in the Charlotte area?
Ulysses: Charlotte Spring Festival of the Arts is a joint effort of Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, N.C. Dance Theatre and Opera Carolina as well as regional cultural partners. The inaugural festival, in late February and in March, 2012, is subtitled The Majesty of Russia: 2012 Tchaikovsky. Russian culture, and specifically the work of Tchaikovsky, will shine in film, music, and dance all month.
Some of the events will be free:
Community Day at Levine Museum of the New South
February 25th, 2012
10am to 4pm
Levine Museum of the New South
Russian culture featuring live performances, folk music, cuisine, and crafts for children.
Film: Eisenstein’s Battleship Potemkin
March 11th, 2012
2pm
UNC Charlotte Uptown Campus
220 N. Tryon Street

Film: Tarkovsky’s Solaris
March 18th, 2012
2pm
UNC Charlotte Uptown Campus
220 N. Tryon Street
