Extreme Ice Center, at 4705 Indian Trail Fairview Road, is hosting a free honey extraction demonstration for kids and parents. Read about the demonstration and learn how to register:

Have your kids ever wondered how honey ends up in the bottle? Join us for the
grand finale of our “going green” week with a live honey extraction demo from
Berry’s Bee’s! Don’t worry, they promised to leave the bees in the hive
Description from Berry’s Bee’s:
“What you can expect to see at the demonstration is the complete process of
extracting honey from the honeycomb. Frames of honey will be removed from the
hive the day of the event then we will cut the wax caps, “scratch it”, spin it,
strain it, then bottle it. That simple! Natures goodness without having to
heat, “ultra filter”, or pasteurize. Just honey in its pure form. We will also
have pre bottled honey and additional product for sale.”
We are super excited about being able to show this to the kids at StayNPlay! We
have arranged for 2 demos so please book your spot ASAP if interested. This
event is FREE!
When: July 21st
1st Demo- 11am-12pm
2nd Demo- 2pm-3pm
