Local: Discounts and free school supplies at Back to School Bash 8/11/12

Students are invited to a Back to School Bash put on by Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation, in partnership with the Greater Enderly Neighborhood Association, Community Alliance and Project Safe Neighborhoods and the event will be on Saturday, August 11th, 2012, from 11am to 2pm, at Bette Rae Thomas Recreation Center, 2921 Tuckaseegee Road in Charlotte. Students can pick up FREE school supplies as well as discounts for uniforms, haircuts, dental care, etc. Refreshments will be provided. Wells Fargo and Verbatim are sponsoring this event.
