Recipe: Cherry Sorbet

:: Cherry Sorbet

4 cups fresh or frozen cherries (pitted)
1 cup of water
4 Tbsp of confectioners sugar
In a blender or food processor purée the cherries, water, and sugar.
Pour the mixture through a fine mesh sieve and press so you can get as much liquid as possible.
Throw away the solids and put the liquid into an ice cream freezer. Follow the directions on your ice cream maker for freezing directions. Serve immediately OR freeze until you are ready to serve.
